Future Roles Status
Replaced "NO" with a more human "Future Roles" status — orange-tinted card in the pipeline so candidates kept for future consideration are clearly identified without harsh rejection language.
Rejected Status
New formal "Rejected" status with red card styling for candidates who have definitively not progressed. Includes a "Not Progressing" stage pill and a final outcome notes field.
Pipeline Visual Improvements
Candidate cards now visually reflect status — green for YES, amber for MAYBE, orange for Future Roles, red for Rejected. Duplicate status badges removed for a cleaner card layout.
ADRA Competency Alignment
8-category ADRA Competency Framework now fully integrated — CompetencySelector on positions, AI-scored competency alignment in candidate detail view with evidence from resume and cover letter.
Auto-Update Infrastructure
Auto-updater switched to the public downloads repo. Users receive in-app update notifications and can install new versions without manual reinstallation.
Global Search
Command-palette search (⌘K) across all candidates and positions with instant Supabase results, keyboard navigation, and grouped result display.

How to Use HireDesk
A step-by-step guide to running a full hiring cycle
Create a Position
Go to Positions → New Position. Fill in job details, responsibilities, and set custom scoring weights. Assign required ADRA competencies.
Upload Candidates
Open a position → Add Candidate. Drop the resume PDF (and cover letter if available). HireDesk auto-extracts name, email, and phone.
Run AI Scoring
Click Score with AI on any candidate. Claude reads the resume and scores them across 5 dimensions with strengths, gaps, and a recommendation.
Manage the Pipeline
Use Kanban or List view to move candidates across stages. Mark them YES, MAYBE, Future Roles, or Rejected. Email candidates at each stage with one click.
Run Interviews
Generate tailored interview questions for shortlisted candidates. After interviews, panelists submit scorecards — verdict and AI synthesis are automatic.
Compare & Decide
Select 2–3 finalists → Compare Now. Review side-by-side scores and notes. Mark your selected candidate and generate an offer letter.
Close the Round
Use Bulk Email to send rejections to remaining candidates. Generate the Full Hiring Report PDF for leadership. Export to Excel for records.
