News: "A Golden Opportunity for Wan "

Wan has 4 siblings she is the youngest in the family. All of her brother and sisters only finished grade six and resigned to find jobs or some of them are married. Wan’s dream is to finish high education and has a good future. But finally the thing that she never thought happened. Her family said to her that they do not have money to support for her education. She was very sad but she understands the situation and accepts that. Wan drop out from school when she was grade seven (M. 1) then she helped family to grow corn but her spirit still in her mind and always thought that one day she will go back to school and will has a good life as she dreams.

Until finally KGS team visited her village and found her and helped her to continue education and moved to shelter with her other friend.

Wan’s first feeling since she came to shelter was felt delighted and happy that she has a chance to attend school. Now Wan study at grade twelve (M. 3). She intends to study highest education as she could. She wants to be a teacher in kinder garden level because she likes music and would like to teach music to children. Wan has ability to play guitar many times Wan will play guitar and sharing to other girls in shelter. Nowadays she would like to tell KGS project that “I very happy that KGS project selected me to be in shelter and I think I am very lucky. The important thing for me is I have a great opportunity to continue my education. Here has build opportunity for me and a good life is the best for me.

Wan is one of many lives that ADRA helps and giving opportunity in education. We will look forward to see her growth and development and hoe that she will be a quality person of this society.
